Sorry I wasn’t able to make it to Tim’s for bumper/ winch install day.
I had a few things going on and a dinner reservation at the Hob Nob in Kenosha with my bride to celebrate our 30th anniversary.

    So today was absolutely amazing!
Most of the crew has made um… helpful suggestions about how to upgrade some very essential items on my truck (mostly so I can attempt to keep up with pearing in a month), so as a dutifully diligent member of Wisconsin Tacomas, I made a few purchases.
After realizing it might take more than a couple hours to read the manuals (which no self respecting male would ever admit to doing), I had the brilliant idea of inviting experts to help me on the Labor Day weekend.
I fully expected to hear crickets. Lo and behold, 5 of the most highly qualified experts in every aspect of Tacoma mods voluntarily agreed to show up and ease my pain!

At 8:30, I got a text from Rich mentioning how great a day it was to turn a wrench. Knowing he’s about a 2 hour drive w, I assumed people would be here around 10:30.
Nope. I look out the kitchen window at 10 to see Stoney’s well equipped 4 runner!
I walk out to the garage and lo and behold, Dave and Rich already had my front bumper off!

Glad to hear it went well. Can't wait to see it.
I use to always rely on beer for getting jobs done.
Usually resulting in extra and or missing, bolts.

I kinda felt like the winner of a daytime makeover show!
It only took about 3 and a half hours to do what I assumed would take me several days!
Quite frankly, I felt like I was Max Verstaffen at the pits watching the experts!

The neighbors were sure wondering what was happening and one of them is a potential new member of our group!

My sincere thanks go out to Rich, Dave, Dan, Cisco and James for all their hard work in getting my truck capable of finally capable of the big boy trails!

How was the HobNob? I think my Mom used to go there occasionally. I've been thinking about checking it out sometime.

Looks like you guys had a great time. 3.5 hours to knock all that out is hauling.
