I find it hilarious that my wife and I have the day off and both kids have to work.

Speaking of work, I don't think I mentioned that my oldest is starting a new intern position with a company near campus. They do contract research so this will answer if he enjoys the research side of chemistry and therefore if he wants to pursue his masters.

PhillStill.....Nice work on the Lexus and now I'm hungry with a sweet tooth. I have enjoyed all the talk about lifts I plan on putting one in the new place if we ever get that far before getting too old.

This tiny bathroom floor has about whooped me over the last 3 days. Got it grouted yesterday and the toilet back in. Time to clean up all the mess and put the tools up today.

Man, seeing this reminds me I need to gut and re-do my main bathroom. Only problem is it's the only/tub shower in the house so trying to bath 3 people it will get interesting. o_O

Macy is trying to file another insurance claim saying the door came down on her. She don’t know there’s a camera and the door was down when she laid down

Good morning everybody, enjoy your “end of summer” day!

I worked a lot of the holidays at the SO, that holiday OT makes up for it nicely

Must've glossed over PZ having a Gt350, neighbor across the street has one that sounds great but he babies it so I don't eve get to hear it. Kiddos wake me up just as early on holidays as work days but I wouldn't trade it.

Europa Clipper set up tomorrow, launch window opens Oct 10. Looking forward to seeing 40ft solar arrays...timeline getting tight, fueling was suppoda last 3 weeks...

    I don’t post much about it…

Unlike the Clipper!!!! Have they sorted out the shielding or are they gonna send it without adding some more SPF JPF to it :D

Everybody that we support thinks their vehicle is obviously the most important thing ever. We have stipulations built into our contract that specify how quickly support can happen, because everybody wants us to drop everything to support them.

These clipper guys have left us in the dark for months except to say hey, it's a 3+week job round the clock, we're working issues. Can't officially put in a work request. Ok I get it.

Now the time comes and they want our schedule cleared to support. It's just the nature of these support contracts.

    Looks great!

I don't like working on houses to begin with - the small rooms are all the worse, hardly enough room for you to move around + tools, etc. :frusty:

Seent a feller get struck by lightning on a golf course in high school. I was waiting on him to move so I could tee off. He survived but it blew the soles off his shoes and messed up his feet. He was touching the golf cart when struck.
