I’ve had 4 Tacomas and only paid for 2. The first two were replaced by Toyota (1st Gen) due to the frame recalls :bananadance:

    My history:

    - Red 2015 PreRunner that met an untimely end. I walked away but it was totaled after rolling over after getting hit at a light. (RIP to that full trash cart I hit on my way over.)
    - Had a 23 Tundra for a year but bailed on it a few months ago. Between the recall, the note, and the too-big-for-me size, it just wasn’t the right fit.
    - Now in a 23 TRD OR in Lunar Rock. It’s great being back in a Tacoma.

Technically speaking, I've only had one Tacoma. My 2003 DC that I presently own. My 1st Toyota truck was a 1980 4x4, no air, am/fm radio,Vinyl upholstery. Very plain truck with absolutely no power. Those 22 R Motors were bomb proof but totally gutless compared to the 5VZE.

    Iv had 3 tacoma's, all X-Runners.
The first was an 05' radiant red that I picked up used in late 2008. Had it for about 1.5 years before I stupidly got rid of it.
The next one was a 2011 black that I bought brand new in 2011 and have been building ever since after it was a daily for the first 2 years of ownership. Never getting rid of it.
The most recent one is a 2006 radiant red that I bought off the original owner 2.5 years ago. Been my daily since and have been modding it.
Pictures below in order. Have also had a bunch of other toyotas. In order of ownership since 2006. 1996 4runner, 1989 4runner, 1987 AE86 coupe, 1997 Celica, 2003 Land Cruiser, 2002 4runner

My 22 is my first taco, and my first Toyota. It's a fun truck, and I like it, but it was an experiment to see if a midsize would fill my truck needs. Unfortunately, it looks like I will probably be going back to a full size. Might try and find a decent used full size, and keep this one for running around in. I really like it, but it is kind of lacking in the capabilities I really need a truck for.

Those X-runners are really cool! The black one is my favorite, although they are all really sweet.

Thanks. The black one has the most work done to it because iv had it the longest. Pretty much every bolt on upgrade you can do. The supercharger is the best part tho

    4. First was an ‘07 four banger that couldn’t keep up once I moved to Colorado, second was a ‘16 AC TRD Sport (favorite) that a DD totaled, third was a ‘17 DCLB OR that just didn’t work out, currently ‘23

Haha gotta look close! I actually think MGM was the best color for the Trd Pro, the little red trd accents really worked with the gray

I am now on my third.

Had a 1997 regular cab 4x4. Was a great truck and the only one I could afford back then.

Then purchased a 2002 Tacoma double cab TRD pro. White outside with tan interior. Sill have that truck it has a little over 200,000 miles and has been wonderful. It will be for sale soon as I do t have space to store it and I don't want it to sit.

2021 Trd pro is the moon rock color. Just got this truck this year I needed to upgrade to haul a camper and I also just thought it was about time.

    Tacos are great :)

Including my current '21 LR PRO MT...
    I've had One.

I did enjoy many trips on my friends' toyota pick-ups back in the day (pre-tacoma) however.

Perhaps I should have bought one of those back in the day... but was inclined towards fast Euro sedans at the time...
    :notsure:

I had a Land ruiser tbat was great off-road and good for towing...
I never thought I'd buy a pickup... But Im liking the Taco for camping and adventures.
