With a built in wideband controller, that great deal I got on the Elite 2500 doesn't look so great. LOL

Took them a lot longer to release those than I would have thought. They accidentally released software that showed their features over a year ago and I posted about it. But I'm excited to see that just about everything you'd need for a nice well thought out build is in there without being a full-on power delivery system like a Nexus r series

Wow going over the S3, you really get a lot for your money compared to a 2500, it even includes all the torque control stuff standard now. I'm thinking this will be the ideal ECU for my Land Cruiser, plus having a WB1 built in is a nice touch and very compact.

I got a P1300 Trigger Sync Error while idling in a touch free car wash. It was a little stumble but didn't die or drive any different after. I cleared it and it's been running fine so far. Thoughts?

Check your wiring harness and boot where it meets the firewall and nearby, maybe has a cut or melted area in the boot? Trigger sync 1300 is from the home position displaying a tick too early. Makes me wonder if the car wash is circumstantial or not but could just be a dying cam position sensor too.

Thanks! It may be related, this cab was in a wreck before I got it so the seam under the windshield/ wiper area may be compromised letting some water in.

I stalled out a couple more times yesterday while hooning around Sand Hollow.
The first instance was right at the top of a small rock wall as my front tires were coming back down the other side. There was a crack/ gap in the rock that I wasn't expecting and the truck died right as the tire went into the gap. (@time623 may have a picture of the spot but I'm sure they don't have service right now) Was a nice natural wheel stop to keep me from rolling backwards but it's also probably part of why it died. Immediately after it died I was able to crank it but it was barely running at around 250 rpms and died after maybe 10 seconds. It did that maybe 3 times. The throttle didn't seem to have any effect on rpms.

I forgot the laptop too so I wasn't able to check it out in NSP while it was happening.

After almost exactly 10 minutes the truck started back up and ran like it never happened and away we went to get (almost) stuck in the sand.

The second time it died I was off the beaten path driving through some super deep sand that robbed all my momentum. I think it would have died there regardless of the ECU just from being bogged down by sand but I might as well mention it. I didn't even bother trying to start it back up at first. Just left it to get a couple quick pictures and point out a better path that I should have used.
    1050944.jpg
By the time James was in position above me as a possible anchor point another citizen showed up in a turbo charged dune machine to provide assistance. I climbed back in and the truck fired right back up, instead of fighting forward up the hill i put it in reverse and backed out without any issues.

@Speedytech7 I think Its time for me to get in touch with a remote tuner. I'm going to be back out in Sand Hollow for 4 days next month with a buddy who won't be able to exit the vehicle to find shade if it dies so keeping it running and blasting the AC will be even more important.

I'm going to go hook the computer up now to see if there's any new codes.

I still have issues starting where it'll crank and crank and crank and finally stumble and catch, other times where it'll only start after I release the key, and times when it'll start immediately on the first crank. Very annoying and I still don't know what's causing it.

I would increase your stall offset though for now

I used to experience that 'barely running' scenario too. It always happened after a stall. For me it was a sudden stop while turning around on a narrow trail. The stall would happen after putting it in reverse and turning the steering wheel abruptly, which causes an idle surge and sometimes the stall. On more than one occasion, it would barely run after a restart. And, as you mentioned, the throttle did not seem to do anything. It is worth mentioning that this was always a 4lo situation and some heat soak was a factor too. But after barely running for a few moments it didn't always die. Sometimes it would catch and run normally again. It is a weird sitiation that has only happened since the Haltech.

I can't remember what was adjusted to keep this from happening. Maybe Zane will remember. Maybe it is partially me anticipating the potential for this to happen in certain situations too. :notsure: For example, when I want to turn around on the trail, think 5 point turnaround, I no longer put it in reverse and turn the wheel at the same time. I now put it in neutral for a moment (almost like engaging the clutch in a manual) before turning the wheel and putting it in reverse. This minimizes the impact of the idle surge from turning the wheel.

I just got a p1300 and p1301 code, PAST on startup after driving it 50 miles.
It stumbled and idle jumped up then down.
    Now it's back to normal.
I've got 125k on my haltech and this is the 1st hiccup I've had that came out of nowhere

Yeah that's the spot, Great shots too! my front drivers tire was right in the crack between the bolders to the left of where I'm standing in the last picture when it stalled. Definitely an on and off situation with the throttle crawling around in 4lo.

@treyus30 I'll take a look at the stall offset
    :hattip:

@Digiratus it did happen to me once last month at my dad's house while reversing and turning like you stated but in 2Hi. All the other occasions have been while in 4Lo.
Zanes got a lot of knowledge under that wizards hat let's hope he remembers.

Idk man, the stall offset was already at 500rpm (once I turned it on)
I have a hard time with this sort of thing. Maybe it was turned off for a reason and I'm screwing something else that I don't understand up by turning it on? i don't think I have ever touched it before just now
