It's really one of those "not for everyone" kind of colors. But I sure like mine. I like Inferno, too.

Totally agree, it's either a love it or hate it colour (Canada eh!) and I still have the 2017 Sport Inferno. I'd have bought a Solar for my 2024 but the boss said no way. Got a Blue Crush Metallic as a replacement. In a certain light it looks like burple ...... all good.

I couldn’t see myself in any other of the colors they offered. The blue was nice but it has a hue of purple in it,”out”
The white ones look awesome when I see other people storm trooper them, but just can’t see myself in one and until the fourth generation, I have never liked black Tacoma’s. Thought it always stole from the nice lines but the new ones the first one I actually think looks decent in black, although I myself could never own black.

While I doubt this, this will really piss off the V6 guys since it's turbo

That engine bay is going to be stupid cramped. Like I said, this is probably someone out there trolling.

They updated the short block fairly recently, should be GTG.

I would assume if this is true, it would be the fixed motor from the tundras

Highly unlikely, but if you polled most here, they’d overwhelmingly agree that motor should’ve always been allocated at least to the Pro’s.

But then, maybe the costs associated warranted Toyota choosing between installing a ttV6, or really neat seats with schrader valves and hand pumps……..sigh.

This is the main problem in the world today. Anyone can post anything and make it look official and the lemmings believe it as gospel.

This will NEVER happen. This is as fake news as well......fake news could be.

Would we want it to happen? A GX550 Overtrail is $1K more than a LC Premium. The 1K covers the slightly better quality of materials and the Lexus dealer perks. In other words, the V6TT and 4Max cost about the same. The V6 is faster, has more hp/tq, and tows more. It also gets 17mpg vs 23. Even if you get the larger (21gal) GX tank, range would be less. During normal part throttle driving (not 0-60 runs), the hybrid will have the same off the line performance as the V6 and if you are going to tow more than 6K, why are you buying a mid-size truck? And you don't get the 2400W inverter. Not sure if that would be a popular option.

Having said that, I'm sure you could easily retune the GX V6 (349/479) to the Tundra spec (389/479) and the new TRD tune adds 32hp on top of that.

Any idea if 17” wheels fit the hybrid models? I found the lugnuts to mount the 4Runner trd pro wheels but concerned about the brake calipers now.

The first TRD Pro hits carsandbids today. Seller is a dealer that isn't Toyota so hard to say what the ridiculous reserve will be.
