I just purchased the OEM all weather rubber floor. Should be here Wed. I got it with the extra 25% off sale. I wonder how that compares to Armorlite. Either way I'm excited to ditch the carpet.

Couldn't you order a rubber mat instead of carpet from the factory?

Yes many did not, and you can buy it from Toyota, but the quality is not great, it doesn't lay flat and the material is lightweight. Side by side we evaluated our product construction to be far better and warranted us to proceed with manufacturing.

Also the shipping is often $1050

Will you be making a version for the access cab?
Also, will there be a way to attach the oem carpet / all weather / after market mats to the floor?

Yeah I’d be in for this. 22 months and carpet is thrashed. I’m sure even though I’m in Argentina now I’m still dropping Alaska dirt out.

The floor looks great, but I wonder how it handles road noise better than carpet?

Go back to page one post #18.
One thing I didn't add is the TPO surface layer acts as a heavy mass dampener/barrier on top of the thick insulator. Imagine a sound wave coming from your tires, that energy is like a ping pong ball in a maze, every time it hits a wall and bounces it loses energy (in the form of heat) our fiber insulator is the walls of the maze and the TPO surface is like a large barrier cap that absorbs some and bounces energy back into the fiber.

This is why our floor does help with road noise. Please still go back to post 18 for showing off our equipment purposes.

OP: I'm sure you are aware of this, but the MT and AT driver-side floor mats are slightly different to accommodate the left "foot rest". My MT truck was mistakenly fitted with the AT floor mats from the dealer, which kept catching the clutch pedal because of the interference. The proper mat obviously fixed the issue.

Seconded on the manual transmission option, is this in the works or is this product for automatics only?

Also, will it be possible to add another layer of sound dampening material underneath this? Figured you might as well while the interior is stripped out

I would be in for a 2nd gen. I could use new carpet(and want the vinyl floor), this would be much better.
