I'm waiting for the Dominator preload system to be available standalone. Will solve top plate bushing failures.

$6,300 for a spacer kit and exhaust?
Am I missing something?

From Camburg: "The Ivan kit is only available as a complete system with all of the parts shown on our website. The standard Dominator kit (which will be offered only in a red color) should be available mid-October."

I have no idea who would buy that complete kit for that price. That's nuts!

 

Just like all the other "marketing" upgrades. Roush on the Fords. Shelby etc. Put about $2K in actually parts and then slap your branding and advertising all over and charge 200% + mark up. It's brilliant because people pay for it. Their margins are HUGE.

There is another preload spacer on the market already (Westcott), but overall preload spacers don't have a great reputation on this site (at least not maximum lift ones like these).

Edit: I have no dog in this fight, don't own a 4th Tacoma and likely never will. I'm just curious how this spacer helps with the integrated bump stop failures. Does it limit travel or something? Because the website says the opposite.

 

The Camburg Dominator preload kit replaces the entire top plate so you do away with the failure prone cast upper strut bushing retainer.
