I was looking for an option in the GPS to avoid parkways but didn’t see that either. I just used my brain and kept on 91 until I could cut over. It kept wanting me to reroute to the parkway.

 

When my inlaws had their RV my father in law invested in a special gps for it. I'm pretty sure you answered questions about vehicle length, width, and height and it routed you accordingly.

 

My ex's dad had a landscaping company and would do tons of work between Fairfield and the NY border. He invested in a special GPS for the big dump trucks etc. Never had an issue. Also paying attention and not being a fckin moron is helpful also. I also have a friend who has his own trucking company; runs a few different dump trucks in the state. He has said multiple times finding good drivers or even qualified drivers is a real big to do, they just don't exist.

Ordered an inverter today and some pod lights. Working on designing a layout to plumb the diesel heater. Its been a wild few weeks....FIL is currently on his way home from Smillow!!! Recovery will be so much better at home. In addition to the heater, as it turns out he very much surprised me with an even better gift. This one actually surprised me and I can wait to get it all hooked up

Speaking of big trucks. Got the RV ready for winter slumber. washed it, touched up the roof sealing, caulked the windows, removed the roof a/c cover, killed a bunch of yellow jackets, cleaned the a/c, it's cover & found two little "oil" plugs that I removed & added oil to on the a/c motor. Who'd a thunk you have to add service the roof top a/c? Rewarding, but a lot of hard work in the sun. I'm getting too old... Had to walk on the hood to reach some of the roof where it slopes down to the windscreen. A brush would have reached, but it needed a good firm hand scrubbing. Glad that's done.

Was away from TW for the weekend. Wanted to take some time off since kiddos are back to school tomorrow, so stayed away from social media until now for the most part.

Back is still MEH. It's weird because sometimes the pain feels like it's coming from the back (not the spine area, more like the muscle), others it feels like it's coming from the butt cheek area, others from the hip area, and others from the oblique area. It's just frustrating as hell because it's been going on since around May, and it's still not completely gone. I stretch, I move around, I try to be active so I'm not sitting around too long, and I'm really careful when I have to bend down or reach down for stuff. But seems like no matter what I do or how careful I am I still get "stingers", and then I move backwards instead of forwards with progress in hopefully getting completely better. It's one step forward and two steps backwards all the damn time. I don't know what to do.

 

Back to work.
I did have the most relaxing vacation so that's a plus.

Time for an MRI

 

Already had one done back when this all first started... but starting to think it might not be such a bad idea to have another one done and see what's going on now.

Beginning demo on our kitchen today for a full reno other than the floor.

 

MRI show any damage ? Sounds like sciatic nerve maybe or maybe SI joint ? I had 2 steroid shots in my left SI joint about a year and a half apart . Helped a lot with lower back pain but I still have to be careful.

 

Long story short, according to the doc, it was a "muscle thing". According to the chiro that I have been going to, it was something else, and eventually he also came to the conclusion that it is an SI joint thing along with a combination of the muscle.

 

SI joint...yep, that's my guess...that's my issue when I've had episodes

 

MRI showed a blowout at L4-L5.
No back pain at all, but my right leg was burning like molten lava.
Had surgery in Dec of '16. They did a shave job on the discs and relieved pressure on my "wiring harness", aka, nerves.
It's been good since. Only issue is some nerve damage to front half of right foot. I can live with that compared to the other shit.

 

Definitely wise, how long ago was the first MRI?

 

I think it was back in May. Can't remember the exact timing anymore to be honest. But I think it was around then, give or take.
