Always loved these wheels.

 

Anyone know of a machine shop in Charleston that does small run or one off parts? Part is small. Need two made, but may make more if there is a demand once I fine tune and test it. CNC or manual mill would be all that's needed.

Shop is running on solar power. Built my own setup. Pretty excited to have fans going. Its toasty in there.

Maybe I'm just out of touch and this is what they should cost, but I just got two new CVs from Fred Anderson Toyota. $217 each. For some reason I was expecting $300+ a pop, so this felt like a great price from a dealership.

 

I thought they were more than that too

 

Absolute crap day BUT they finally got my GX in the shop to fix the rear main seal and axle seal leak.

 

You worn out from watching them work on it?

 

They are actually a remand CV axle. There's a company I forgot the name but they actually rebuild CV axles strictly for Toyota dealerships which is pretty much what they would use if you ever had to go in for any kind of warranty work on a CV. Axle, I've actually installed several of them for customers that had their own

 

So they actually gave me an option for reman vs new.

 

Are you swapping out the axle shafts?
