Army Green thread: let’s keep it green!

I just got them myself on Pro stock. Had to trim just a tiny bit but yes rubbing is a minimum. Need the heat gun next. Put 265/70/17 on my wife’s 4runner a month ago. Put 3002k miles on it the day after on vacation. Love the tires.

 

Finally have my 2021 LB about where I want her.

Ah, the 3rd generation Toyota Tacoma in army green—because clearly, you wanted a truck that screams, "I’m here to haul gear and probably never use that gear off-road." It’s like you took a normal truck and decided it needed a color that says, “I might have a concealed carry permit, but I also enjoy really long naps.” The army green is an interesting choice—perfect if you’re trying to blend in with a forest, but maybe not so much if you’re trying to blend in with actual people.

And that engine! It’s great for getting from 0 to 60... eventually. It’s the vehicular equivalent of making a dramatic entrance, only to arrive fashionably late. The suspension is fine too, assuming you don’t mind feeling every single pebble on the road like it's a personal affront.

But hey, it’s reliable. It’s like the “nice guy” of trucks—always there for you, even if it’s not the most exciting option out there. Just don’t expect it to be the hero of any off-road escapades unless the greatest challenge is avoiding a few curbs in a parking lot.

This is my first post. I finally did something worth posting. I have new Method 305s in stock, size 16x8. They are on clearance at TR for $150, so I couldn't pass. I like the Green/Blue, but I have a few cans of Plasti Dip ready to go just in case.

I have the same Cap. Are you having any problems with the black spay on bubbling? Now that work is slower I'm thinking of finally sending it back to A.R.E. to have the paint redone.
