Bolder Opal… He was a serious Opal nut and noted how much fake stuff there is out in jewelry. I have all sorts in various states. He always said some of the best came from Australia (Coober Peedy) and was referred to as “black opal”. I can’t identify squat, but I got plenty books and charts when I find time, retire.
