I love my set. Its the best shock for the money. I like them better than my stage 4 icon suspension

Ya the Fox Pro shocks ride pretty good on a 2014 2nd Gen, eh?

Did you need an add-a-leaf to level the back? Or are you running the stock leafs?

A week in on the pro Fox set up and I'm loving everything about the new way the truck rides. I got a brand new OEM leaf pack for cheap off of a member 2 years ago and put in an AAL when I installed it due to having a Leer shell on about half the year. Sitting fairly level, but I'll be taking the shell off next week after a camping trip so we'll see if that changes at all. Not expecting much difference.

Mind sharing the AAL you used?

Torch AAL was what I used. no squeaking or issues so far after about 2 years.

Hey, Im considering buying this set off a 21 taco with 20k miles on it for 850$.
    1. Is it a good deal for the price?
I’ve read multiple different things on here, so I’m not sure what to believe.
    2. How much lift does the set give in the front after installation.
    3. I’m currently running a 3” lift/level kit with front spacers and a rear blocks. Could I just use the block from that set to level out my truck until I can save up for an AAL?

The price seems a little high. The performance is ok but not amazing. It’s much better than the stock ones I had but I imagine there are better options out there for a little more money. I paid about 1000 cdn for brand new take offs. My rear is about 3 inches lifted and the front ended up at maybe 2 over stock. I was going to add spacers but my brake lines were a bit short and I was feeling lazy. You should be fine just popping the new parts in. I’m no suspension pro though.

I'd say that's a bit high, especially with 20k on them. You can rebuild them. See if you can get em down to $750

I'd say the performance is the best you can get for under $1k, assuming you don't care about adjustability or obtaining a suspension lift (IE - not counting lift from tires) past 1-1/2". They're a 2.5" dia shock w/ internal bypass valving. I loved mine on my 2nd Gen but eventually moved on to something with some adjustability.
