I worry more about the dumb cagers in the rain, I've had multiple cars crash in front of me.

In the winter there is a slight worry about any water being dumped and being turned to ice.

shit gotta worry about that when its dry... yesterday a cyber truck was using the auto drive thing and plowed right into a ford f250 crew cab 8ft bed... was wild seeing that thing spin around on the highway while the cyber truck went into 3 other cars before stopping..

Most winters I can sit on the ridge above Malibu looking out at the ocean, turn 180* and see the angeles crest covered in snow haha. Southern CA is wild from a landscape perspective.

Woah wtf, how is that not an immediate NHTSA hard investigation.... that shits not OK. Can you imagine if it were a motorcycle vs an f250...

Probably because the NHTSA or whatever treats it like cruise control. If your vehicle slams into someone cause you forgot to turn it off or didn't hit the brakes, that's the drivers fault. You're still supposed to be ready to react when "driving" a Tesla. You aren't supposed to be watching youtube videos or posting on instagram or tiktok, which many do.

haha it sounds like it! for me i can just look and go oh hey its cold there here and over there!

ya idk i think its held on the drivers fault tbh.. since you are suppose to be ready for anything.. was wild to see on the other side of the highway while sending a voice msg to a friend of mine lol

If it makes you feel better, i've had like 10 inquiries on my R3 since I listed it in May. only 2 of which went past an initial message, neither of whom came to check it out lol.

I'm right there with you. The cold/rain doesn't bother me. Just more cautious of traffic.

It's the heat that gets me, you can only lighten your gear so much while staying protected haha. But I still don't let it stop me. Headed to Chuckwalla this Saturday, 108 degree high both days

That is a very cool little bike. I have had a couple FZR400s over the years and always looking out for a Bandit 400.

if only we could buy all our bikes for that much....

that was me last night lol. Rode back from a date an hour away in the evening, left my jacket and helmet on the bike during dinner and when I geared up to go home both were pretty wet from condensation. That was fun

bear with me here cuz it was real chilly...

a very brisk 65  it really wasn't bad at all, just couldn't really dry out because of the settling marine layer by the coast adding more condensation along the way

:hattip: hats off to you, I don't think even I attempt that on a motorcycle

oh man so chilly! idk how you survived that cold freeze!

haha wet gear does make it rather miserable for any ride back thou so at 65 degrees if you are going some good speed it will be pretty chilly but for us over here it feels fine but for you nah thats freezing! and hell has just become the north pole! lmao

tbh when I'm riding I barely notice the temperatures. After the first few miles it just felt like a normal ride. It's only once I get off the bike I realize my fingers are frozen and don't want to uncurl lol. Or that I realize I haven't drank nearly enough water, if it's hot.

Proper gear makes all the difference in the world. For me even a bad day of riding is still a good day of riding. As long as the roads are safe for travel I'm going to pick my bike. The day will come when that will no longer be possible so I choose to make the most of it while I can.

i notice it pretty easily haha. hot weather if its super hot just feels like a damn hair dryer! so its just not comfortable at 90 degrees and up! if its colder out it kinda depends sometimes i can ignore it and get use to it and be like you and get off the bike and go oh shit im realllly cold. but i also ride next to a few lakes sooo it gets cold quick sometimes

Lol i just know it's hot when the air rushing by my neck feels hotter than the ambient temp. But once the sweat starts the evaporative cooling helps me ignore it lol.

Cold I definitely notice more, but it doesn't affect me as much as long as my hands stay warm, at least until of the bike like you said. Now you mention it, feeling the temp variation as you ride between certain areas is one of the things I love about riding, no clue why.

In 2010 I think it was, some guys and I did Snoqualmie pass to Leavenworth and back in February. I was riding a very not snow worthy 1098. I've never been more miserable.
