    ha! understood

we confirmed that both buckles 'DO' mount to seat frames(not floor)
we also got some other pix that proof that belt/buckles will need to be swapped(they are different 100%)

so both inr cab trim panels(4 bc 2 tacos) will all need to be RI'd then swap the belts and reinstall trim
bc both of our seat frame incorporate the buckles.....that is a time saver

now just need to confirm the mounting pts of seats
which i dont think will just plug and play
    but
can be done like that girl vid shows

I did sorta the opposite: 60/40 split to full bench. The inside-rear bolt holes did not line up so I had to redrill and weld reinforcement plates on. As someone already pointed out, the 60/40 seat belts are built into the chair, my new belts receivers bolt to the same new holes I made.

Mine is a bit of a Frankenstein's monster though- The receivers are out of a Nissan Frontier and the center lap belt I believe is out of a Datsun pick-up or something. I wandered the yard until I found a receiver that was compatible with the existing male seatbelt. #junkyardthings

    Alright TW
    The swap happens on Friday

    almost didn’t happen
Belt swap (single to Xtra cab)not doable without some major modifications(to body/belt/inverting belt sides)
Too much to a safety item to “try” to fit

    Just to explain…..

BIG SHOUT OUT TO THatt for helping!!!

so we were wrapping our heads around the issue
    Came up and confirmed

    swap buckles only
    (Keep belt mounts)
We confirmed that both buckles bolt onto bucket seat frame and 60/40 bench frame!!!

    less work too!

    keep everyone updated

    the 15yr old approves!
    He Checked results out today
He really likes the center console

Brett is pretty much more knowledgeable than myself with Tacos
Was pretty easy/fast install with his expertise

Honestly the hardest part of this swap was mounting the center console due to the floor pans being different. The seat swap went pretty quick!

Glad everything worked out for us. :)

    Man
During seat swap we decided to leave both of our belts and only swap buckles that bolt to the “swapped” seat frames
    One weird 16mm bolt(each side)
Then IIRC, bent each buckle just lil bit for great fit
Saved a crap ton of time
