Dang, that's pretty much the value of that car. Odds are you'll get your money's worth though--assuming your Civic is clean and otherwise in good shape, you won't find a better car to replace it for $4k.

That's the thing about it. It would take $8k to replace it with something as reliable with similar mileage.

Flew the drone a bit today and found the remains of an old airport nearby.

Are the intakes on all the newer trucks this noisy? Maybe it's because I've never owned something with more power than a 3RZ and I just haven't noticed, but that chuff noise before it revs is weird.

    Excuse the dog barking.

The chuff is the sound of you disturbing the vacuum rapidly, they all do it, the other background sucky noises are the TB adjusting to maintain idle

I've considering doing this as well. The caps on the end of the driveline/slip yoke have been missing for some time so I can't really grease it anymore and it's full of all sorts of mud, sand, and rocks.

It's the house near you that had that tree fall on it

Apparently just days after the incident (as recent as 3), people were reaching out to the home owner offering as little as $300k for it

Yeah I saw that lol. Not surprising unfortunately, though it’s really more just the land you’re paying for at that point

I guess I heard that as long as there’s a standing wall you can sell it as a home that needs refurb or something like that
