its pretty simple get the spot warm with a heat gun, some fishing line or dental floss and saw through the backer, then use like some acetone and remove a bit more of the backer that may hang on, or skip and hit with an eraser wheel. and then polish it all back up with some good wax once its all cleaned up

Yeah, that's mostly true. My truck is 11 years old and the ghosting on the doors is pretty bad. Been using a scratch remover and it's taking forever.

That's my fear, I'm in a '15 and we off-road a fair bit, my truck is well pinstriped, so clean, smooth and shiny areas will stand out bigly!

Productive day. Replaced both front CV's with axles from CVJ. I really like the high clearance boots. Replaced passenger side axle seal. Replaced both ball joints for SPC UCA's. I put in the new designed ball joints that are sealed and non-greasable. They look better than the old design. Also added Wheelers Super bumps to replace Timbren bumps which were smaller.

Wow, i think you may have just convinced me to do a retrofit on the truck. I did one on my car a couple years ago, its not that hard. Just parts are tedious. Your cutoff looks awesome, even better than my car's!

How do you like them? I’m thinking of ordering those based on a couple other guys that have them. Is there anything to watch out for?
I’m thinking of the IMS version.

Ok, those are way better than the S2000 retrofits I did in my Acura. Excellent work!

    Those look awesome.

Any issues with street signs not being lit up above the cutoff?

What brand/size halo's did you use on the front and back of the shrouds?

I have the MRA's and I really like them. I like that you can dial in the shocks based on the weight you have added to the vehicle. Not sure on the IMS but if you have extra questions I would recommend reaching out to @Crikeymike as he has been very responsive to any questions I have had. I bought my setup from him.
