Favorite Whiskey?

RR10 anyone? Was discussing with a buddy of mine. RR10 just does it for me. Always available, always good.

 

Easy sipper, wish it had a bit more proof on it. Cheers.

 

Give Me Turkey or Give Me Death.

 

I enjoyed it. I think I’d prefer a WT 101 as a regular sipping and having that one to share with some friends. Seeing how the 101 is basically half the cost and similar taste (to me)

 

I've been seeing a bunch of ads for that on YT lately.

 

Weller Wednesday.

 

Finished off mine long ago. Buddy told me he spotted a few bottles south of me for $70-$80. What say the peanut gallery? Don’t think I paid over $60.

 

Single barrel or small batch? 70-80 is retail for single barrel. It’s not a bad secondary price for a small batch.

 

Small batch. Noted. Maybe I’ll take the trek and check it out. He also said he’s been able to wheel n deal with this place.

I just scored these two today for $60 each!

 

That's one heck of a great deal!

 

Sometimes it pays to make connections with store owners. This is the same place that I got a Stagg, Taylor SiB, and Weller Full Proof from few weeks ago for $300. I am a regular customer since it is the only place that I have found locally that does not outrageously mark up their stuff. I was at the store yesterday, I stop by every Tuesday, and he said that he had some Weller 12 coming in today. He said he would pull one for me and to come by whenever and it would be behind the counter. I went by today and was expecting one, but he had two with my name on them. I was even more surprised when I saw the price that they rang up as.

It was a good day for sure!
