It blew up in 1923 and killed 6 people. Only 5 bodies ever recovered. No other info about it, and only structure is a 2000SF single story home and a shed that were built about 50yrs after the incident.

Yep, Beautiful views but given all the recent land slides in news, I would worry about shifting soil. No clue who you get to check for that. If that checks out, fire away.

 

Initial test will be a 6ft level on the floors when I view it Monday. Been there for 50 years on a stemwall foundation, but don't know depth. Would hire a local geotech engineer to do bore holes and analysis.

 

Would anyone happen to have a boat, kayak, paddle board, etc. that they do not want any more. I don't care if its got holes in it, it's needed for a prop on land so your trash could be my treasure. I have beer!

 

Many suburban home developments are on top of coal mines along the front range. There is a good reason coal mine road is named this name. Radon is the biggest issue living on top of a coal mine If you live in Jeffco you should have a Radon test done.

Yes, the Wheels MFG red parts hold the pipe wrench parallel with the frame since the King cup is tapered and the applied clockwise torque is perpendicular.

 

Somebody wants these... Or maybe somebody wants to pick them up and hold on to them for me? Assuming they're Oak anyway. Can't tell for sure from the pic.
