Amazon really depends on the seller. It's full of counterfeits of everything. Good sellers have legit products. Shady ones don't.

    THIS!
I don't buy anything from them, if I want an actual brand.

They look OEM and that's a decent price. Check the buyer reviews for any red flags. If you are worried about getting genuine pads, shop around on the Toyota parts website or call locally and you can find them for close to that price. My local parts dealer will meet the price at the counter if I show it to him on my phone.

Seems fair, and the price is a little too good to be true.

Now let me ask, when dealing with brake pads, is OEM going to make that much of a difference?

Per description: Sold and Shipped by Conicelli Toyota of Springfield so probably Genuine Toyota. $60 through Amazon is more than my local dealer's price of $46 if I order on https://autoparts.toyota.com and pick them up at the dealers.

IMO: Yes. Buy the whole kit: pads, pins, etc....whatever else is in it. I'm looking for the kit part number. Have fun!

I'd buy local at that price. Amazon sounds legit but you can always google them and take a few minutes to call them to confirm the price if you're worried. I order stuff locally when the Toyota site has a 10-15% markdown or free shipping which happens a few times per year. If I need a new taillight quickly because some ass broke it in a parking lot, (recently) I just buy on the website from a local dealer and select pick-up at dealer. This is especially important for electrical parts which in many cases are not returnable and they open the box right on the counter and at least confirm it's the correct part.

I used to buy the higher quality aftermarket. They always either have more dust, don't last as long or both. I now figure I am already saving money by doing the work myself, and I know exactly what I am going to get with OEM.

I purchased my TRD brake pads off Amazon. They seem to be out of production, because I couldn't get them from a stealership. They seem to be genuine. They are working quite well.

I think I would rather go with the factory pads though... the TRD pads produce a lot of brake dust.

No, I don't trust them for something as important as brakes.

Glovebox divider, floor mat, non-essential crap sure but plugs, brakes, etc no way.

I hate buying anything online, made that mistake with an online order from Wmart to find out the order went
to some company in China. After that I started getting spam Emails and spam calls left and right. Still get them.

As others said Amazon is hit or miss same with eBay Motors. If the seller is Toyota dealer or Maga Brand dealer Like Sparks Parts you'll be fine. I'd carefully examine it when it comes. I've gotten counterfeit oil filters off Amazon by not checking the seller was a good one. Heck I even got a few Stant locking gas caps that were counterfeit too. One of them was from eBay the other was from Advanced Auto parts.
