I've had the idea of dressing up in the quintessential d-bag salesman outfit and visiting my local dealership. I mean it, the whole get-up...flashy silk shirt, tight fitting slacks, really nice shoes, big flashy watch, ALL OF IT.

Pull right up to the front where they chill like sharks, and just jump out and start into a ridiculous sales pitch for them to buy my truck for $100k. I mean whole hog trolling fest until they bite or ask me to leave.

I got a call from sales rep at my dealer asking if I wanted to trade my 2021 on a new 2025 as they have a shortage of Tacomas in their used department. I basically said no, the 2025 are ugly, pricey so I will keep mine forever and ever.

Nice I'm in the same situation there. I owe $353 as of today after my biweekly payment was deducted by the credit union on payday today. I been paying extra too. If I do nothing now but let it go as scheduled I'll be paid in full Oct. 4th.
Since you are in Pennsylvania same as me you should not have to do anything to get your title. Lenders are required to participate in the Electronic Lien Title System. When you pay off your loan the lender is to notify PennDOT electronically. PennDOT will print and mail you a clear title the next business day automatically to the address on your registration. Be sure the call your insurance agent when you get the title, you want them to remove the lienholder from your policy too. Congrats on getting to payoff. feels good to be so close, don't it?

I'm staying payment free as long as possible here. The 4th Gen is kinda ugly and way overpriced. I do like the Underground and Terracotta colors though.

For me with 1.9% financing it was better to keep money in higher return investments rather than pay in full. Also, Congratulations to you !

I was at 1.99% too. I just paid some extra each month and let my savings continue as well.

    Excellent all around.

I look forward to the day, which is approaching. I think I owe like $2,700 on my 2021 A/Cab. If my kids were settled I would have paid it off
6 months ago but some life-events caused a ruckus for them.
