Does anyone think this is possible?
I have wanted to do the heated wheel mod, but just am not sure I am willing to go through with all the effort. But now that the new 2024 wheel is heated, could we just plug and play kinda deal?

Thanks for the link. I understand there will need to be some additional work. I mostly meant not having to install the clockspring wiring and heating elements in the wheel. This solution looks perfect. Cheers

Went ahead and ordered the steering wheel. Thank you for the link. This must be a recent release. I looked around for a while for something like this. This guy seems legit. He even gave me a 100 dollar coupon, pretty fricken awesome of him. Cheers

I installed the Cartrimhome kit, it was super easy and works great (mind you it is summer, but I've tested it a few times).

Does it get hot? Or is it more like warm? I’ve never had a heated steering wheel before so I have no frame of reference lol

The guy who designed it responds immediately via email. Plus its not rocket science install. I'll update when I get it installed. Should be about a month or so

Im considering this. The wheel looks fat and bulky in the photo. How does the size compare to the oem? Thank you.

I live in Canada and the heated steering wheel is almost a must. I did this a while back. The quality of the steering wheel is very good. The steering wheel is a bit thicker than the OEM, which works better for me. Installation is straight forward, but you need to be careful especially with the clock spring. In the pics you will see where I installed the switch to turn on the heat, and it's pretty easy. Just pop out the middle section with the 2 vent rings around the radio, and there is just enough room to slide your hand and pop out the blank switch and replace with the steering wheel switch. The only "negative" thing I can say, compared to a heated steering wheel of a BMW for example, is that it's a tad slower to heat up. But it heats up quite nicely. One of the best mods I did for this vehicle. IMG_3040.jpg
