I’d be a lie if I told you I didn't have a a tab open to the Magnison Super charger. Unfortunately, there is no way I can justify that purchase. Almost 8k for the supercharger then tunes and all.

Someone at the last meet up had one and it looked good!

 

At least there’s no labor charges… we can practice installing it on yours before the rest of us buy ours!

And I thought it came with a tune ready to go, like a flash pack or something?

I too have spent many a night looking at the Magnusson website lol

All the reviews of their taco supercharger seem to agree that it’s a total waste of money though.

Really?? I’ve always heard the opposite… I mean I know it’s not going to be a fire-breathing 700hp trophy truck, but I heads the gains were significant. And best of all, a full engine warranty.

 

Ohh a full engine warranty? I didn’t know that part.

Yeah I mean it’s been a while but last time I read through the Magnusson thread on here it seemed like it was 90% people saying it wasn’t worth the money. Maybe I’m wrong though.

 

I also read through some of the threads and a lot of people said it was a waste of money… but I mean, come on, it’s a supercharger, everyone wants one of them


If I was single and had buckets of money, I’d buy one. Well, I probably would have a ‘25 Tacoma or 4R pro on order

 

I need to do that. What brand are you using? Seems AJT has the best price for their version. I was just viewing their install video last night. Lol

But here’s the question… these people that said they are a waste of money, do they have one or just people like us that want them but haven’t the money. Some people just like to bash on things they can’t have.

 

Looks good! I had one of them for my Chevy long bed. Had the air mattress that contoured the bed and wheel wells too. Came in great handy, especially when camping in places so far off the path there would be no way a camper could reach.

 

I’ve got an air mattress for in there as well! I just didn’t set it up for this test. I also left things in the bed. Seems like it will be pretty nice in there

 

I have a similar setup from Napier. It's nice to be off the ground in my other tent.

 

See that’s an important question. Because i feel like it would help a lot when im on road trips and trying to get through places like the big mountain passes out west. I 100% don’t need one, just justifying it to myself lol

Or what if I wanted to put 35’s on my truck? Then I would definitely be able to use one.

Greetings my Mid- Atlantic and Appalachian Americans! I finished up digging the hole, I got down to 48" on the short side of the slope in the yard. I hit a thick layer of what looked like back fill, sometimes I swear that my lot must have been the edge of a quarry or something with all of the backfill that I find when I make holes in the yard. I will run into town with the firewood truck in the morning nd get sackrete and a Sonotube, I don't feel like farting with it tonight. I'm going to bake some frozen chicken wings and call it a day.

 

If Toyota still offered them as an option at time of purchase, I’d have had one years ago!
