Winter’s just around the corner

Nice dark skies you got there.

 

Boss just called coworker to check on him. Said he went to the hospital and they ran some test and said he had a blocked vein somewhere and needed to see a specialist.

He said the specialist keeps calling but he's not answering the phone.

He also dropped a limb on top of his foot and thinks he may have broke it cause it hurts really bad.

He said he's not going to get that checked out.

Why? Someone tell me why so I will know

 

Last Saturday the kids and I rode to Dollar General 8 minutes from the house to get some things for the cookout.

On the way out I grabbed a 4 pack of Kit Kat ice cream cones, Cole and I have done this before. He eats 2, I eat 2 before we get home.

Cole said Sadie, that'll be 1 for you, 1 for me, and 2 for dad. I smiled.

I then told Sadie "don't tell mom". She said okay.

We ate all of them before we got home, Sadie shoved the wrappers in the box and I said just leave that in the car I'll get it out at work.

She got out and said dad, do I have chocolate on my face? I said nope, you're good.

Later that night I told my wife about us having ice cream. Sadie said dad, you told me not to tell.

I said Sadie, that was just to get you to eat quicker than you usually do

Cole and I went and hot glued a hay rake hitch back together yesterday after work.

 

I mean....obviously it'll be a great addition to the prize wearhowse but I have no idea why you're not keeping that little beauty for yourself.

That is the wretched side of the coin. I’ve been in that route couple times myself although I try hard to avoid it.
