I'd heard about this dust issue early on so I used an extra ear bud adaptor cut at an angle to create a 'boot' to keep dust out. It seems to have worked so far. And I obviously need to clean the panel (why does every speck of dust show up in pictures).

Since I don't have the tools or skills to mod my suspension or wire up fancy electronics like most of you, I get to spend my efforts on these more trivial bits.

I installed an Auxbeam panel in my truck a few weeks ago and didn't really like any of the options that I had for where the accessory wire would connect. Using the add-a-fuse either the system would be always on (good for when I want to use some of my lights around camp while the truck is off, bad for long term), or only on when the truck is running. Decided to install a 3-position SPDT switch that I could select between the two options, and then spent some time modeling and 3D printing an insert that the switch could drop into to live in one of the empty spaces. Best of both worlds!

Thanks for the follow-up! Yes, even if the company truck (V-2) was deemed ‘at fault’, the blue Hyundai’s (V-1) speed was likely a ‘contributing factor’. Glad you are being covered and hopefully minimal out-of-pocket on your end.

More inspiration to get my front and rear cameras installed!

OEM wiper blade insert replacement. Thanks CCN for the tutorial. I really like the OEM blades and replaceable inserts. First set lasted almost 4 years.

You're both right here. You can definitely force an upshift by sitting in a lower gear revving high and moving the shifter into the next higher gear. It will go.

And yes, it's mostly suggestions as there is no mechanical connection from the shifter to the gears. You are just playing within the pre set calcs.

Interesting scenario on the mountain passes. If you're revving high in 2nd there is a limit to which it can not drop into first. The ECU will no let you go into first. So far, in my exxpierecnce that has been the only scenario where the pre set calcs have stoped the driver input.

Purchased Toyota Certified, with Vijay bumpers, additional lights, and Falken Wildpeaks on Fuel rims. Prev owner apparently painted the grill.
This is freaking brilliant, and I'm embarrassed that I did not think of it.

Looks like a nice print as well.

Yep. Mine’s a ‘20 too and still running the OGs. I watched that vid a while ago and CCN recommends replacing inserts every 6 months. The guy is good and inserts are relatively cheap but every 6 months, I don’t think so. I will replace mine before winter to be proactive.
