How do you figure out what gauge of wire you need for shit? I got some 10 gauge but idk

 

You need to determine the draw and length of the run.

There are charts that'll tell you what to run.

 

Gotta figure out the required amperage. 10ga is good for 30A in most applications provided the run is less than 100' or so.
