We so much for sliders for Drivefest...FedEx has no idea where the hell they are!
According to the tracking (useless unless someone scans my package) it's in London.
Personally I have little faith in that.

I drove for FedEx for a bit... I had a lot of heavy shit. Sometimes I would bring my dolly to roll them to the door.

Driver probably saw how heavy they were and accidently left them in a corner in the distribution centre...

    RIP.

I just had the condenser replaced in mine last week (cracked and leaking). I got a nice $1200 bill from the shop, only to take it home and hear a new noise and they tell me the compressor is also fucked.

Only 28,000kms on the truck lol

You may catch yourself asking "What's been going on the shipping container world since 2021?", and behold, I am here to answer.

I can no longer use the previous referenced post since they are no longer advertising prices, I've resorted to another ad in a similar geographical location.

A used shipping container has decreased $1800 - 4000 (-45 /-61.5%) in almost exactly 3 years. Current prices are significantly cheaper than my first look at prices in May 2021, (aprox. 10 - 25% cheaper). The 40' high cube has seen the biggest fluctuation and interestingly enough is the same price as the standard height 40' (tiny house community cheering right now).

    https://www.kijiji.ca/v-storage-con...iners-shipping-containers-for-sale/1667511138

    -- 20' Standard (8'6") -$2200 plus delivery fee
    -- 40' Standard (8'6") -$2500 plus delivery fee
    -- 40' High Cube (9'6") -$2500 plus delivery fee

Interesting numbers that reflect the state of the economy.

So if a name brand CSF condenser is $85, the remaining $1100 is labor and consumables? Is the refrigerant liquid silver? https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo.php?pk=10177956&cc=3445493&pt=6708

FWIW i f-ed up my AC condenser (dont ask... too soon:annoyed:) removing and replacing my lower rad support a couple weeks ago. i bought an OEM toyota replacement condenser for around $310, installed it in my driveway in 20min and had a local shop recharge the system for $440 so around $750 total all in.

i could have saved around $150-200 to make it around $550-600 all in with an aftermarket condenser like the one @3JOH22A posted but decided the OEM was cheap enough online to pony up the extra $$ given my dealer wanted $660 for it. the refrigerant the local shop added was almost $300 after tax.

there's a hole in the ozone layer directly over my truck from the escaped refrigerant from my punctured condenser.

So, what you're saying is if I show up at a mutually agreed upon time with a bottle of blantons, we can puzzle out and fix mine issue?

was looking at those. bailed when i realized they dont interface with the 3rd gen since they are eyelets on both end. would need to build a new shock tower to get those to work.
