Can one safely run 6112s with a 1/4 thick spacer on them with our trucks?

I originally bought the 6112s hoping to maintain stock height but had to change my plans and need to Add an AAL to the rear to compensate for sag.
In order to match the front, I will need to run the 6112 at their max 9, 11 clip settings which I worry will produce a harsh and bouncy ride.

Would it be safe to knock the billstein 6112 down to 7,9 (1.4" lift) and then add the 1/4 spacer on top of the strut towers to give an additional 3/8" or so of lift?

I didn't get much feedback on the suspension board so figured I would try in the 3g specific one .

I’ve done this exact thing. Ride is not harsh at all.

Edit: Actually I’m at 8/10 clip setting w/ the 1/4” spacer. But the above still holds true.

How much rear lift are you running?

Mine are 7,7 up front(with 1/4 spacer on driver side for lean correction) and factory 1/2” spacer in rear.

    damn near perfect levelIMG_4518.jpg

Hmm I thought the 2 notch difference was supposed to compensate for the drivers side lean alone but it sounds like you had to go a bit further?

Did you add the spacer in the front and the rear at the same time? My understanding is that ~1/2 extra lift in the front should also correct the rear.

My truck is the Trail Ed. so it came with the block in the rear. I slid the front spacer in during the bilstein install. It drives and sits perfect. Keep in mind, I have a Cali raised front stealth bumper so I factored in minor sag up front. Came out to my target ~1.2F/.5” rear.

factory trail edition is at 1.1” front and .5” rear for reference

Ahhh I think I may have initially misunderstood, If that came as part of the factory lift I assume the block is on both sides and not just the drivers side?

I put 6112 at notch 7 and ran 1/4" spacer on BOTH sides. Rides awesome. Got 1.9" of lift just like advertised.

I have Icon RXT leaf pack at stage 1 in the rear.

Here’s a not so recent picture of how it looks.

Both sides in the rear, only driver side up front.
