Wife wanted pliers last night to hang up our daughter’s cheer poster at the football games. (To snip excess zip ties) She asked to keep it. I told her she can have that china one and I’ll order a new pair for me …might as well get two options lol

I found the Milwaukee line to be pretty good, so I switched over to it from stihl line that kept breaking

Are you only weed whacking or edging with it as well?

Both. I edge one line (closest to sidewalk) with it. Does pretty well

I'm using the same. More so for convenience as it was in stock.

Ok, so my opinion is based on doing yardwork for 9 yards for around 2.5 years in the southeast with saint augustine grass being the most popular. I did primarily use a 2 stoke echo but did use the current M18 trimmer for about 4-6 of those months, I was very impressed with the M18.
I have tried out the following trimmer lines, all sized 0.095in - Milwaukee, Stihl CF3, Echo crossfire and black diamond, Shakespeare ugly twist and ugly line, and Rhino Tuff pro line twisted and straight. I have found them all to be fine with weed whacking, I think the Stihl lasted a little longer then the others for weed whacking. But for weed whacking and edging the very best I found is this Rhino Tuff Pro, I found that it left the straightest lines that looks like it is cut with a sharp edger where as other lines the edge would have a slight weave to it, I also found that the bright yellow is very easy to see even when going full throttle so you can make sure the string is long enough when edging. I did try out the Rhino Tuff 0.105in line and it produced a even better edge but it does hurt trees and fences so I went back to the 0.95in.

You should use zip tie cincher they cut much cleaner and won’t cause any sharp edges.

Are there attachments made to fit the weed whacker that make a permanent replacement for the line?
    I don't mean the brushcutter.

Years ago I had one on my gas powered whacker. It was a 3rd part thing. Blades that swung out as it spun. Not rigid, it would deflect if it hit a hard object.

I have previously used a plastic blade version of this, never seen this style with metal blades but I doubt the metal is that strong and will need to be replaced after a few uses.

LED interior, license plate, and fog lights. More to come.
You all are a bad influence and I appreciate it. This was $30 off earlier this week and I found it because of a link in this thread. Since I happened to have a $15 off $100 offer from Home Depot I applied that too. Used the cordless ratchet to do a starter and front brakes on my commuter car today and it was so much nicer than firing up the compressor and dragging out the hose. I know it's not the greatest cordless ratchet they make but for light duty stuff it's great and if something is really tight I'll just break it loose with another ratchet first.

I think I have a problem, had a dream last night that someone was throwing out brand new in box milwaukee m12 & m18 tools including - newest m18 recip saw and 1/2 mid torque impact wrench, newest m12 drill and impact driver and circular saw. Woke up sad cause while I absolutely don't need it I really want the m12 circular saw. Pretty rare that I remember dreams or nightmares, even rarer that I remember them after being awake for 10 minutes.
