Yeah sorry I should have said that was to give an example of a 1000 series no trem. There’s quite a few of them (and the newer 1001 models) out there in some guitar stores and on Reverb. I’ve seen a lot of the newer ones are made in Indonesia and I generally go for Korean made sub $1500 guitars but I love my LTD 350NT from a long time ago made in Indonesia and I assume their manufacturing has gotten better yet still as a lot of the newer import models from Ibanez, Schecter, and LTD in the $1000-$1500 MSRP range come from there.

Here is a Korean MH 1000 found. It’s got a different shaped headstock that’s similar to the Page Hamilton I used to have.

    Scored this for 100$
Pick ups sound great. Giving it a deep cleaning and new strings.

Any drummers in here? I’m trying to get back into it, I did a ton of diy-level touring when I was younger but haven’t played more than a handful of times in the last 2 years or so.

Worth that and a bunch more...good score! If the neck ain't warped like boomerang. Still even worth a brownie (Canadian slang for a hundy (more canuck slang))

I would say I used to be, but does one ever truly stop being a drummer? I wear my steering wheel out... Anyways, sold my kit recently and haven't played in a long long while. But can't say I stopped being a drummer I guess :rimshot:

Saw Graham Nash the other night. His band was really awesome and versatile. 3 guys, one played piano and organ. The other two guys played everything else, switching back and forth. Bass, electric, acoustic guitars , sax and mandolin . Both guitarist played drums, one played bass and drums at the time.

I'd be scared to take ADHD medication. If the music in my head ever stops, I'm afraid my heart will as well :rockband:

I bought this unit at a garage sale something like 22 yrs ago, for I recall around 10 bux...for wall art. Came home, stuck it on the wall whrwr it sat since. Never picked up or played...22 yrs

My wife is left handed, and if your wife is left handed and you're not, you quickly learn how to work in a left handed oriented house cuz it is. I've always been slightly ambidextrous but it's been amplified over 25 yrs of marriage soooo I thought to myself "self, could you learn to be a switch hitter on guitar". I actually convinced her that 3 hundy for a basic lefty would be worth it, utilizing the parable of I'm doing this to sympathize what it's like to be a left handed freak (I use that term with her often). Wife Management Skills +10 points lol. The Dutch in me said, fvck you self, you got that Mexican Classical hanging on the wall, restring it south paw for 20 bux and see if you can play it.

So I pullz it off the wall, cut the already snapped A and D strings off it and pull out the Dunlop No. 65 polish and it shined up golden nice. So I figured why not tune the E G B e proper and hells bells, doesn't that sound nice. Then I figured, I want a sunroom guitar that I can leave out there for plinking quietly, I'll string it right handed and enjoy it.

Youtube'd how to string a classical nylon...ya, I'm no boyscout learning to tie those bridge knots so took it to my guy...

I'd like to introduce you to Mexi Cat...newest playable stick after 22 yrs of neglect...

Well, that escalated quickly...was in the LGS gettin my Mexi Cat restring and CE 22 string and polish and I noticed a CE 24 Semi Hollow on the wall. Asked my guy what's up, said is his, said he's selling it to pay bills and he's a gear hound. I trust him to work on my core so, go pull it off the wall and it's a 2020, great condition...pups replaced with Seymour Duncan's (he's a hard metal guy)...put it back on the wall cuz I was skeered man. Skeered I would buy it. It was listed at half the price of a new one....

Went home with my luthier completed work, couldn't get this deal outta my head. Really to good of a deal to let go, sent a text to him requesting Serial Number and pup specs...got them next morning...spent all day yesterday trying to convince meself why to not buy it. Woke up this morning again trying to rationalize how NOT to buy it...failed.

Went back this morning to play it...and well, happy NGD to me!

    You did good, beautiful guitar!

Have a PRS team here too, 1 DGT and work-in-progress SE. Will eventually wind up with a PRS hollowbody because Paul & Co. builds exceptional guitars...
