    Here's one of my projects.
They were delivered yesterday. No stickers.

I have 2 retaining walls. I redid one 4 years ago. No big hurry to get it done. At least by Nov 1st. I've got 4 weeks off between now and Nov. 1st.
Speaking of work,,,last evening was my last Friday of working until the end of the year. It was either that or take off the whole month of October.

Relentless Fab hybrid bumper, 2.5” Dobinsons IMS lift, RCI skids and sliders, block heater. Painted FJ Steelies. Was trying to keep it stock, now slowly building for the Wisconsin trails.
When I was looking at paint I was considering a dark grey hammer tone similar to MGM.

 Should be all good to official guidelines.

My neighbors would hate me for blinding them like that.

I don't have that kind of time. I have truck work to get back to. Besides it's almost spooky season. :pumpkin:

    Thanks!

It'll be another month or two before i can finish the supporting mods to run them. Had to get one on the wheel to check it out.

    Those wheels are hot.

Are you sure you ran the numbers right when comparing long travel to portals? I mean, you’ll probably have to re-re-gear anyway. Portals got that covered. You can keep the control arms, CV shafts, etc etc. So much savings!

Yeah, I’m gonna go ahead and say portals are cheaper. Yup! It’s not too late to do the right thing!

Portals are the clear winner but the supporting wallet mod was a complete failure.

Acetone wash and 1st 2 coats of Steel-It are done. Now a 4 hour wait for the 3rd and 4th coat... if I have enough paint.

    PXL_20240907_170103990.jpg

Interesting application instructions... 1st coat, wait 30 minutes to an hour, 2nd coat, wait 4-6 hours, 3rd coat, wait 30 minutes to an hour, 4th coat.

I'm glad I picked up a new paint rated respirator mask. Fumes are strong! Feeling a bit buzzed eating my lunch.

At what size do tires get so expensive that it turns into “I got a Tacoma on my 37s” vs “I got 37s on
    my tacoma”?
