AC doesn't have to be crazy expensive. One guy I spoke to bought a unit that came out of a pop up and just cut it into the roof of hosting enclosed cargo trailer. He had to do a little work bracing the roof structure of the trailer but it keeps his 7x16 trailer plenty cool. I saw another home built set up where they just used a small household AC unit cut into a partial sheet of plywood and put it in the side door with the actual door secured open.

I was saying that only the expensive trailers come with AC. The "budget" trailers seldom have it.

Yeah Team KLX. I love my 450R up until about 75mph on the road (close-ratio 5spd, no overdrive). I run Pirelli Rallycross MT21's and they are very off-road but roll and corner just fine when I need to put in some street miles. I've been looking at other tires lately (rear is ready for replacment)... but the Pirellis work so well in gravel and rocks and dry woods that I'm not sure I could find better 80/20s for my needs. The rear that came on mine is 100/80/18 so I'm definitely looking to get a 120 or 130. The 90/90/21 on the front is awesome.

I have a buddy with a DR400SM that I need to get to go for a ride to trade off for the KLX450R so I can check out the SM handling.

Who had the factory service manual for the KLX300? Hoping it has wiring schematics you wouldn't mind sharing.. Looking for the headlight > hi/lo switch area. Found a main connector in front of the fuel tank that shares the wire colors I can see going into the headlight, but want to see as well what colors go to the switch, without pulling it or the loom apart.

Only online source I can find is for the 300R, which doesn't help since it's missing lighting.

I have been researching the drz400 but damn still carbs , no tach , no fuel gauge .. Suzuki really needs to update that bike. To be honest the klx300 even with the stock tires does handle well on the street. I am not riding that aggressive to really need better street tires. I will after I wear these out.

Ive riden the DRZ and it felt like my buddies KLR 2004 model, just a freaking dinosaur, the levers, the ergos, everything.

If I stick to dual sport style bike I need it to be semimodern like my WR250R, so a KTM 690/701 or the new chinese bikes Kove 450 etc.

The KLX 300 and CRF300L are good choices but basically lateral for me in my current position.

I want my damn rav4 to sell so I can buy another bike haha.

It's not a touring bike, it's not an adventure bike, it's a hooligan bike. If you want a supermoto, you don't really need any of that fluff. Single carbs are easy to deal with, once you get a feel for the adjustments.

I am not afraid of carbs. I have tuned plenty of them. Just don’t care to anymore.

Cheers. Pulled apart the switch and looks like the wiring passes straight through the switch, no relay. If possible would like to confirm that. Will run my own wiring on the side for now and plan on teeing into that wire with a relay, no rush.

Some fluid in the knee that is apparently draining down my leg. I need the swelling to go down.

Went and rode maybe another 24 miles today

Scrubs wasn't my thing. But that's funny.

I have some nice boot imprints in my leg

It is impressive. Half my thigh all the way down through my ankle now and wrapped halfway around.

Wife is worried about internal bleeding but I think I'd have noticed symptoms by now
