Hey guys - I get an intermittent vibration from the rear driver side door panel - seems to be coming from the plastic panel where the window switch is. I bring it up here because TRD John has the same issue and it may be a common thing. If anyone has experienced this / has a fix let me know.

    Too poor for mods
I have a vibration that is really annoying to my left ear. Haven't pinpointed it but it shows up when I accelerate slowly in eco mode, which lugs the engine a bit. Just commenting to track this thread.

It could be the rear door panel. Mine is intermittent on rougher roads. Will keep you posted!

I’ve also heard a similar rattle. I’ve just assumed it’s something I have under rear seats.

I had that rattle on my rear door and stuck a chair leg cushion between the door panel and door frame. Noise gone

Oh wow. I didn’t think the noise was coming from that spot. I’ll test. Was it an intermittent buzzing/rattling for you? What’s weird is everyone says driver side.

    any other weird noises ?

I don’t have to even drive it to know you’re 100% correct. On the driver side it is looser against the door frame. Wow. Why in the world do you think that’s the case on all these trucks? Some early manufacturing quirks?

You have no idea how grateful I am that kind of shit drives me up the wall.

Is there anything wrong with me putting on some thin strips of dynamat I have left over from my stolen truck? Or is that not the correct function of it. Was going to wedge it between from that spot you showed down to the speaker

Mines just on the passenger side and honestly was intermittent noise buzzing and rattling. Never heard it again after putting those cushions in there

You can try, I would just go to the store today and get some small leg cushions and just shove them into the area I showed

Oh wow - mine is just on driver side. Passenger side so much tighter.

Yup my 3rd gen had the rattle at the overhead console and the tweeter speakers would rattle against the a-pillar trim. Overall my 4th gen is way better.

Off topic but does anyone know if the sr5 trim has the acoustic glass?
