Guess I caught the edge of that root at the same time I was hitting a ledge maybe driving too fast and the 4 lbj to spindle bolts sheared off.

winched it up into a tree and pulled the tire off then dropped it down on a 2x8 that was ratchet strapped to the bumper and skidded it out, drove a good bit in 3wd and had to pull cable the rest of the way.

set it up on two tires and replaced the spindle, lbj, and a fresh set of oem bolts and drove it home. Had to pull cv also since the rcv inner pulled apart. All the clips are still in place so I still need to figure out why it came apart and reassemble that, may just have been the extreme angle.

I think that's more than just bent

I retract the statement, after viewing the sheared bolts. Damn!

 whenever I drive a family member to meet someone that they're buying something from off of Facebook marketplace I always ask if they told them we'll be in a cement Tacoma and they always say no, they told them grey because nobody cares about the specific names of Toyota paint

I am very happy with Krown, the price is right, and the service was good. I will be making my yearly appointment soon. For what they charge? I don't want to D with the mess.
Another plus for Krown is; they spray inside the body panels too.

I do the cans from Home Depot. Yearly, I take care of 2 3rd gen tacos, a 2nd gen Frontier, 2nd gen Titan, and 97 Ram 2500. Plus my utility trailer.

Krown do a great job, and they have multiple products.

Always get an oil based product, and stay away from anything that remotely resembles bed liner.

I was looking at wool wax or liquid film if I do it myself. Amazon sells it in 6 packs of cans. I'm assuming that is enough for one truck.

I looked at Krown. Seems legit but I'm not sure how I feel about them drilling holes in my doors and such.

If I go diy do u guys recommend wool wax or liquid film over one another? How many cans is needed?

I'm all ears if u guys have tips and tricks... or even a link to a thread that I missed. Thanks

I use fluid film. I think wool wax sprays on a little darker and looks a little nicer, but it's also thicker and stickier. They both do a good job. Get a good underwash and dry before you apply.

And don't tailgate this whole trucks

Four cans will do a truck, five cans will do a truck Well. Six cans gives you plenty to play with to get into those hard to reach spots or to get inside your frame etc.

Only thing that sucks about this stuff is I feel like the spray cans have a high (25%?) failure rate. But the product beats everything else imo.

sprayed it on the outside of the body in placed on mine and it lasted over a year through pressure washing directly. Eventually took a hot water pressure washer and scrubbing to get it off.

Krown didn't drill any holes, there are OE plastic plugs in the body panels they pulled, sprayed, and pushed back in.
First time I sprayed my own, that's all I needed to outsource the work after that :D

You didn't lick it off like you're supposed to?

Also, I've been doing this probably 4 years now with the cans and have yet to have one fail on me. Are you getting yours from Amazon or doing the Home Depot route?

It looks like Chevy will be bringing some ZR2 and ZR1 models, Jeep will have a presence there, and Nissan is even bringing some Pro 4X goodies. It would be good to have a strong Toyota presence.

There will be beer and food trucks as well. Come on down
