The truck was hit front and rear and totaled by the insurance company. The plastic bits on the front were smashed but the bumpers hardly had a scratch. I managed to get the alignment spot on specs already although one side is at the adjustment limits. I'll take it to a frame shop after I get it inspected and titled

That's a horrible idea. What time?
I hadn't heard of them until you mentioned them. But in the aftermarket world that shouldn't be a surprise. I went with Relentless Fabrications Summit bumper. Same thickness on the steel, 10 mounting locations to the frame, and rated for moderate angle side pulls up to 10k winch. The bumper is a beast, I hit a creek bank pretty hard trying to get a run up a slippery hill. Caved the TRD skid plate. Not a mark on the bumper. Only draw back is they are built to order and yours is in stock.

Go to the website I linked and look at options under the hybrid bumper. Full hoops is an option. And it's one hell of a bumper. Zero regrets.

I have an All-pro knockoff (infamous ebay bumper), I think it sticks out much further then it needs to.
Focus on the bumper you want then see what hoops is can come with. Pretty much every steel bumper has different hoop options, inducing headlights.

I've personally had decent experience with AllPro Offroad. That said, I only every had their skid plates. I've had friends, who have since been banned from TW, who were less than impressed with the durability of AllPro bumpers. If you search the forum for "AllPoo" you'll likely find some hits. With how expensive bumpers are, it's worth spending a little extra to get one you know will be quality.

I have sliders from Relentless and would absolutely endorse them. Demello and ARB are my top two contenders though, as they are designed to take impact. ARB tests theirs against simulated kangaroo strikes, and Demello has several reinforcements that you won't see from the front.

moved this bumper from my truck to my wife's. it was a good deal in 2019 when it cost me $800 new. I wouldn't buy it again, its not the best fitting or looking. the 2 piece design is also a pain to install. id much rather have bought the Ebay one and saved $

id get a used Ebay and add hoops or buy a better bumper.

I got a used pelfreybilt and it was way easier to put on, fits better, and doesn't stick out as far

Allpro offroad, no. Relentless Fabrication, yes. Well built, one piece, 10K pound winch rated bumper, side pull capable. Not the cheapest, not the most expensive. Built to order so you'll have a lead time. I have used mine a few times and stood up to the challenge. I bent the front of my skid plate climbing out of a ditch with some speed, the bumper was unscathed.

Relentless makes fine stuff but another important thing to consider is shipping, unless you live in Reno it might cost a lot more than buying from somewhere closer to the region you live in.
Also I don’t think I’ve heard of any bumper failing from winching, it’s usually where the bumper mounts to the frame itself that fails. Which can happen with any bumper that doesn’t have extra support to keep it in place

Absolutely love my rear steel bumper for Mall Crawling, and the ball hitch is a true bonus.....

Someday I may get front steel bumper, but am content with my bullbar at the mall. I see knicks that would have been damage, if I didn't have it. Same thing when I hit little varmits & birds in my front end when burning down a trail. All that plastic is still intact.
