That's a normal amount, not bad. Were they the typical squeaky before you removed them? Now is the perfect time to disassemble, lightly sand, spray and insert pool liner separators.

Thanks for getting back to me. They look better than the ones I have on right now. I don't think they'd give me any more lift/carrying capacity though. Right now my truck is pretty much level (unloaded) but I don't like that personally because when I put a load in the back it squats pretty bad. I also want to lift the front a bit more (I've got adjustable coilovers) but then the problem is even worse.

Long way of saying I'll probably keep looking but I appreciate it.

 

I got the monitors set up at work. They are a huge upgrade from the 2013 era 22" 1080p monitors I've been using. 1440p would have been better than 4k because windows still doesn't handle scaling perfectly in all apps, but the price was right. Thanks!

 

Take his set and add your leaves to it to build a better set.
If you're just looking for more load capacity, 1-2 added leaves each side should help a lot.

I have the outer half of a boot kit from a 4Runner (04427-60141). Not sure if it would work, but you're welcome to have it if it will. Don't you need to take off the inner boot to get to the outer boot? I don't think the outer joint comes apart easily.

 

I just read through the adventuretaco blog I posted on the last page and you’re correct. Dang. This is a little more involved than I thought.

Thanks for the offer on that, but I can’t find anywhere that says it’s compatible. It looks like what you have works on the ~03-09 4Runner and 07-09 FJ. Not sure what changed with the 10-13 FJ that makes it different, I only knew that the engine changed from single-VVTI to dual-VVTI on the 2009->2010 FJ.

 

The part number is for the full kit, inner and outer. I know at least the inner boots are different (3 vs 4 ribs). You would just have to hope the outer boot happens to be the same. They look the same at a glance, but it's hard to know for sure.

 

Going to be putting a fence in my backyard soon so if anyone has any saw horses, a compressor, nail gun, miter saw/table saw, or post hole digger they're looking to sell in the north-ish front range, let me know.

 

i have an older sears table saw you can have for free, but im down in springs.

one of the spinning knobs is missing, but you can move it from the angle part to the raise part no problem. doesn't have a fence either.

i can get pictures later this week, but this is the owners manual pdf i found trying to understand how to use it.

a coworker gave it to me but i never used it.
