I had to mix with people plenty.
But that was just Show Business, as you might say.

Exactly… I had a wall stacked 3 high opening facing out. TONS of stuff that would bring $$$$ today. My stereo is Pioneer and was in a glass front/top console cabinet. I still have my components and speakers that stayed at my parents.

When our grandson was 'bout 4yo we went to Glacier Brewhouse in Anchortown; we parked couple blocks away and soon as we get out of car he has to pee, like squirming/hopping gotta pee. We're parked next to construction site with one of those big "gonna be" billboard size signs at ground level. So I take him behind the sign and let him pee. Next morning about 9AM, I find him standing in the middle of our wide open front yard, drawers down letting it fly. We had a chat about peeing with cover versus without cover. Fun memory that one.

In my travels around the state I much preferred going to Pittsburgh then Philadelphia. Traffic was out of control, people were assholes, just not a pleasant experience in Philadelphia. Pittsburgh had a different feel, people were gruff, but much more friendly. We normally stayed in Robinson which is the yuppie part of "town" but I've been downtown for conventions and I never did feel unsafe compared to Philly.
