H9 bulbs to replace low-beam H11 ... just remove the green insert to fit the H9. My NAPA bulbs are $35/pair. Others pay $20/pair.

To clarify ... putting any LED bulb into the halogen assembly can be illegal in some states. LED bulbs reflect light is 2 or 3 directions, halogen bulbs give light in all directions. Halogen assemblies do not reflect 3-direction light reliably, but do reflect all-direction light correctly.

If you want LED headlights, buy Toyota OEM assemblies ($1600/pair) and a harness that TW members make to use them in your truck.

    ^+1.
and if you head over to the lighting section, there's some stickies that have extremely thorough testing of a few different 'high performance' led drop-in replacement bulbs. all of them in physical testing produced less light at further distances than the stock halogen bulbs.

led bulbs tend to make for a very bright area directly in front of the truck, which has the benefit of making things seem brighter, but ends up hurting more, as it constricts your pupils for the brighter light, making you not be able to see as far. also, light directly in front of the truck only has benefits for extremely slow driving-- under 20 mph. the increased brightness near the vehicle and decreased brightness further out will make objects/animals appear to 'jump' out of the shadows even faster and potentially more deadly than before.

there's a ton of science behind headlight bulbs, even if they seem simple. and some of it isn't even about the bulb, but also considerations for the standard attributes of a typical homo sapien that's normally tasked with driving the vehicle within this planets confines.
