    Alternative ideas. (All of these are in the Idyllwild area)

    1. Thomas Mtn.
    2. Santa Rosa Mtn.
    3. Black Mtn.

    Not much in the way of amenities at these sites but they all have great views and are pretty chill. First come first served but I do know Black Mtn. has a couple group sites that are large. I am also looking at the two yellow post sites at Bee Canyon or as we call it “the crick”. Bee canyon is closed at the bottom but I haven’t been able to find if it is accessible from the top (Pine Cove). I doubt there will be fires allowed at any of the sites so keep that in mind.
