    hello,

i got my 22 tacoma a little over a year ago, was stationed in a different state for a little so haven’t had the chance to work on it like i wanted to. took it for service yesterday and they said the rear shocks had small leaks. i was already planning on putting a lift kit on it but that brings me to the question of which one? i want around 2 inches for light off-roading a couple times a year but also good enough to tow a small bow rider boat a few times a year as well. i would like to keep it budget friendly but also something that will last a good amount of time. i also would like to replace the ucas as well. i would like any suggestions for brands or what not. thanks

I usually compare lifts to flavors of ice cream. There are lots of them and everyone has their favorite.

It took me a little over a year of reading, learning the concepts, compiling reviews, and even going to talk to people before I settled on my setup. I'm fairly confident that the flavor of ice cream that I bought is my favorite. Others may choose to say "that sounds nice, Ill have the same" or they might want to dig into the world of suspension a little more. Or talk to the expert memario, tell him you like chocolate and you tow trailers, and he'll come back with a recommendation.

    It's up to you.
