Damn, I’m jealous. I have something like that but nothing that advance like yours. How many watts you put out for subwoofers? Also what are you using for your head unit 4 channel with a separate amp?
I have the (2) kicker 10” subwoofers behind the seat put in a ported box with the amp Kicker 500 watts mono amp in the middle.
Everything is hidden with my head unit cheap knock off touch screen apple play from Walmart. New Rockford prime D 4 ch 100 x 4 ohms

Thanks dude, lots of research and work went into it.

The JP83 you see is going to feed my Skar VXF 15 (not installed yet) 2300w RMS. The headunit is a Kenwood DPX503BT. It has enough RCA outputs for a 4 channel amp and a sub amp, but I instead have a single 2 channel RCA going into my DSP (orange accented thing on the left) for signal processing. It outputs to 8 channels to include my mini amps up top for my tweeters and midbass drivers going under both front seats. The Skar rp150.4 4 channel goes to the doors to power some deaf bonce Sylvesters.

I plan on doing a build thread in the AV section of TW that will get more in depth with everything.

I did it in 2016. It’s been holding up pretty good no issues only one blown rear door speaker. I got more pictures that was my first time doing it.

Replaced the drivers side front diff CV axle oil seal, damn thing started leaking somewhere in Utah on my way to Socal. Funny thing is, I replaced it earlier this year when I did the ECGS bushing. A thin sliver of rubber looked like it had been worn down or torn. Re installed the new OEM one, see how that holds up. Also threw a new front diff breather valve in just to be sure it wasn't that.

Damn thing leaked all the way down the front drive shaft to the transfer case and was dripping onto the exhaust crossover.

Got a '14 Taco from Carmax with 47k miles back in March. Being my first I naturally made my account here to gain wisdom from the legends and the goobers alike. Many of my relations have said I shouldn't need to do much of anything to a vehicle with such low miles, that I'm not a mechanic, etc, but being one who has run into more issues by merely letting things be as they are as well as knowing the history of this truck has the capacity to be questionable, I felt it necessary to explore the issues before accepting things as they are.
Did the secondary air filter mod myself and replaced the shifter light.
I came across a user who had a subtle vibration in idle similar to what I was experiencing. Found it interesting that he replaced the VVT solenoids and the vibrations disappeared. Knowing many things could be this, I narrowed it down by first cleaning the solenoids and it temporarily solved the issue. Decided to go all in and replaced both solenoids, as well as give Valvoline's Restore & Protect 5w-30 a try at the same time, at 55k. I am cautiously skeptical but pleased to report thus far that the truck is running like new, sparse vibrations if at all in idle, no random drops in horsepower now over 1000 miles in. Even my wife who is not a car person noticed the improvement. Maybe coincidence but it's pretty strong.

Finally did the bucket seat swap. Still need to get the carpet for the back of the cab. Pretty stoked about the seats.

A/C fan quit working except on high on Sunday, figured it was the resistor and got parts on order. It started working again yesterday but parts arrived and I went to make the swap this morning. I'm thinking that it probably hadn't died yet, though something did. Current thought is the bug was shorting it out but then once it cooked for a bit, it quit shorting?

I went to the store last night and when I got back in the truck, the dash lights were completely gone, but everything else worked, so I drove home in the dark.

Then this morning I spent 30 minutes going over each and every fuse, in both boxes, everything was fine.

While I sat behind the wheel trying to figure out what the heck could be wrong, my eyes glanced over to the dimmer switch, and I said "There's no way I'm that stupid..."

Well, it turns out, I am that stupid.
