    Plenty of people out there running superchargers on Tacoma's. I don't think "I" ruined it.

    They said 7k labor. They also said it's just worth swapping the engine. So I'll probably get them to quote an engine swap and remove the supercharger at this point.

    About a year and a half ago. Warranty is a year with procharger.

    About 5k labor for engine swap. So I'm assuming it's going to be around 15k. Dropping the truck off tomorrow for them to give their verdict on it it's actually piston rings. I'll keep the thread updated with their verdict.

    Labor is usually the killer these days. As for doing rings only: You'd have to first be sure you don't have a cylinder that's egg-shaped. There is no option to re-bore these blocks as far as I know. There may not be enough cylinder wall to do a good honing.

    Engine swap is likely your best bet at this point.

    That's interesting, now I want to take my intake off and check lol. Possible that it's broke and covering port 6. I assume when the valves were done they removed it and would have noticed the flap being broken but...I'd have to see it for myself. Grabbing some wrenches :cheers:

    I would just pop off the throttle body and use a camera to check if it's still in there correctly

    Almost have the air intake off to check that flapper...found this lol. Probably not contributing to keeping air in the system?

    Looks like my flapper is in tacked. I can't really see it but there's no rattling when I shake the intake manifold. Gear is still attached too.

    Yup, and with the supercharger even though a small hole would definitely be sucking in air that's bypassing the MAF. But shouldn't be causing issues on cyl 6 specifically.
