Tough on this one as color is probably the most diverse thing about making a car/truck. No one is going to agree. I personally think Bronze Oxide is the ugliest color they make currently yet you and others like it. Manufacturers are ALWAYS going to do white to black and several shades in between. Always has and always will be the case. Those sell the most. Any time you then throw in a "color" you start getting way less of an audience to buy that car/truck as color is polarizing. Sure they will guess and throw out a few and see what sticks but traditionally Toyota doesn't offer a ton of colors for each year like say Jeep does with the Wrangler or any higher end less manufactured auto.

I'm sure they watch the market and make allocations for the colors buyers want.

I haven’t seen a pic of the inside. I wonder if it has little orange and yellow highlights.

So there you go. Actual numbers. People going nuts over 6 trucks out of over 100k sold so far and they have already identified and ready to fix. Not bad at all. Probably less with the top hat Armageddon.

I guess I was wrong. Maybe those are “ranges” based on the other thread so no actual numbers. Wonder how many total.

Only 6 trucks would not warrant a TSB. It is going to be in the thousands.

Sounds like a bad batch of solenoids (probably those pesky "machining debris") and not a bad design for the transmission. If they replace the solenoid(s) before they fail then the rest of the tranny should be good to go. Once you get the CEL/MIL and slipping/heating occurs, the clutches are toast and you need a new tranny.

Also an update on the allocations, Tuesday’s posted allocations was the last of the 2024‘s

So would that give us an idea when 25's should start showing up on the lot?

It should, that means they’re physically finishing up the 24's to start making 25s now so I would have to imagine it will be the next batch of allocations.

Look how much wider the grill is on the 24’s compared to the 16’s
