Here's a good poll, how many hurricanes have you been through!!! I would have to answer somewhere around 6. The worst storm was Hurricane Camille in Mississippi 1969. The 2nd worse was Tropical Cyclone Alicia in Houston Texas. The flooding there was really bad. Imagine living in Lafayette in a 8 x 60 ft mobile home. It's anchored down with straps on a concrete slab, but the wind is blowing so hard that water is actually coming through the rivets in the walls. The whole trailer is rocking and rolling in the wind. Yeah it was a blast. Basically I'm saying Hurricanes suck!!!

 

I called it coke 'til I married my Iowa farm girl ... since then it's been "pop".

No, I'll pass on those also. I've seen the pics of the Earthquake that hit Alaska from 1965. No thanks.

 

Don't actually want either, but hurricanes seem more consistently happening and potentially as destructive.
... I amend my statement, "I prefer the threat of an earthquake occurring over the almost certainty a hurricane will."
