You're right around the corner from it; you can go out there and get back home same day

I had only suggested a thread cause some of us are coming from a state or two over and the coordinating was much better

How much do you think 2" by 1" angle iron is? Like 3/8" I guess 4'

    if that makes sense

    My 1.5" x 1.5" angle iron at 3/16" thick...think it was 20' or 24', was about $40 or $50?

3/8" is twice as thick so I'd venture to guess $80-100 for the whole stick

If you bought just a 4' section, you would be buying remnants so I'd expect it to run you no more than $20

Never bought 3/8" angle iron before, but generally speaking, it's easy to figure a cost when comparing weight if you know the price of one of them

    Perfect

Buy a stick of 20' although some places will only carry 24' sticks (no biggie)

I'd expect it to be less than $100 total; many steel suppliers will cut it down any way you need so you can opt for your 4' sections right then and there

The Ford's trans pan was all dented up and leaking. Decided to put on the most popular 4R70W aftermarket pan with a drain plug, new Ford gasket since I couldn't guarantee the OEM reusable one would be there still, new motorcraft filter, cleaned magnet, torqued to spec criss-cross, annnnnddd now it's leaking.

FIPG is annoying and adds so much work. But I never have to redo shit when I use it. Besides that one time that I used an old tube on my transfer case and it never dried.
