how much can a 1st gen tacoma tow

    Hey guys I have a 2003 tacoma 3.4L v6 I was just wondering if anyone knows how much weight I will be able to tow on my truck

    says 5,000 in my 99 owners manual

    2nd gens are rated at 6500lbs according to the manual

    but i doubt 1st gens are higher then 5000...

    5,000 optimistically, just stay away from the hills if you're anywhere close to that unless you want to get yourself killed.
