Leer 122 High Rise truck cap in Super White, from 2016 ECLB. Sliding side windows w/ screens. Needs new lock. Blemish on right rear (pictured). Otherwise in excellent condition.

I bought it from the dealer last month for my 2008 DCLB, and I knew the fit was off and that I could make it work, but meh…I decided to take the advice from everyone on the forum and get a proper-fit cap.

I’m looking to trade for any 2nd gen ECLB/DCLB topper - I’m not too choosy about style or color. I can travel within IA or nearby in surrounding states to meet up.

I am also open to sell, for the right price.

I dunno, can’t you lift it and go forward a bit? I understood 15 years ago my cap doesn’t fit a regular cab but I can live with it. That extra length may not be a bad thing but do what you’ve gotta do. IMG_8412.jpg

I never thought about a lift. Thank you - that might be just the ticket. Where is a good place to start to learn how to lift it?

I experimented by putting 2x4’s on the bed rails to raise the topper 1.5”. I could snug the topper about 3/8” closer to the cab - not as close as I wanted. Oh well, it was worth a try.
