Bought mine back in 21 and no moisture. I will say though that the protective coating on the lens is peeling off. Got mine from eBay for less than 200 bucks.

finally got around to installing some bed stiffeners from Bullet Proof Fab I got from Matt123 , excellent quality stiffeners. also got the propane tanke mounted with the 63Industries propane mount! just had to slightly modify my Bam Beds platform to seat nicely with the stiffeners. cant wait to head out on the next trip. nerding out over organization lately...

Did a "conservative" viper cut last night because my new tires were rubbing. Didn't want to do the regular one and cut the fender flares. Really happy with the way it turned out.

I did my 2-year ToyotaCare service and weld splatter recall. No issues w/ the recall and the service tech said he hasn't seen one yet that had the problem.

I'm not so happy w/ the oil change. There was oil on my driveway this morning and this is what my skid looks like. Do I have a leak or did they just do the sloppiest job ever? The first oil change was completely clean.

Update: Drove it back to the dealer and they tested for leaks. Then they removed the skid and cleaned everything up (very kind of them). The service advisor said it was just sloppy work. I told him politely that wasn't very confidence inspiring. At least they took care of the problem quickly without giving me any grief.

Now...do I need to remove the skid bolts and put anti-seize on them again or will they have had enough residue that they will be fine?

On the other hand, I like this (roundtrip back to the same gas station) mileage; my last few tanks have been in the 21.5+ range. This is summer gas and mostly mountain highway driving. It seems if I can keep the truck cruising at 60-70 mph it gets great mileage (presumably on the Atkinson cycle).

I had something similar happen, it turned out to be a pinched O-Ring. Of course it happened the day I had my driveway pressure washed so I have a fresh oil stain.

What’s the consensus on the best route for color matched rear bumper caps for those of us who didn’t get the tech package? I really want to get rid of the chrome and have lunar rock caps.

You won't get consensus, but you will get opinions :)
I felt black was best so I derped mine. The PlastiDip "paint" is super easy to use and very forgiving. It just takes a lot of thin coats.

This is an old pic; the shiny bits on the wheels and taillights have been rectified.

Thank you very much. I was looking at the opening last night wondering if anyone made bolt on caps. Thanks for doing the hard work for me and attaching the link.

i ordered some replacement raw plastic caps and had them primed and painted. caps were $50-100 and paint was about $150-200. The color match is perfect. i do wish the body shop sanded or body filled the texture. if you look close you can see that there is texture in the plastic. but the paint has held up well to now 4 winters and i backed into a wheel barrow last year and the scratch polished right now. the body shop did a stella job painting imo. if i had to do it again, id probably just order pre painted caps for like $200 from tacovinyl.
