Haven’t seen drips or fluid on pavement but was underneath the truck today to address some suspension stuff and saw this. Truck is 2018 60k miles and serviced at dealer. It’s not wet to touch

No active drips, seep. Active drips, leak.

Thats seepage, if your under warranty it may be covered but some manufacturers say that seepage is not a leak.
Honestly I probably would ignore it.

thanks. I know dealer likes to blame aftermarket suspension for anything and everything so I’ll see what they document it as

    Looks like the pinion seal.
Keep an eye on it. They eventually develop into a leak (drip).
Sometimes it take 2-3 months. Sometimes 2-3 years.

    That.

You might check the fluid (contaminated fluid can cause it to leak), but if the fluid's fine, then yeah, just keep an occasional eye on it.

Trace the edge of oil stain with a grease marker on the pumpkin, observe how quickly it grows.
    Or,
Clean up the oil stain with brake cleaner, then check if it comes back and how quickly.

There was a weeping rear end TSB for 2016 and 2017 Tacomas. I wouldn’t be surprised if the issue continued on in later years. See post #1931 for the TSB I had done in 2017. PDF “A510-D” on the right has more complete info and pictures of the Weep.

Also, check the diff fluid level and make sure bleeder is not plugged. Both are pretty simple to do.
