I know that. Just would take either one. I do like the aluminum wheels over spokes.

In a spur of the moment conversation I found a buyer, so the CB500X is on its way to a new home tomorrow. First bike for a friend, so I'm glad it'll be a solid start for him.

Hooked up for an early AM departure.

Unlikely. It's a long drive, and I imagine he'll rapidly surpass me in riding skill. He's an adrenaline fiend, so he'll ride harder than I do.

Part of why he's starting off on a tame bike.

So yes I change my mind a lot about motorcycles. That is my only part of my life that is like that. I love all types of bikes and wish I could experience ALL of them. I will continue to buy, try and sell that’s just the way it is.
So this one bike which is a 2014 GSXR 750 came back up on CL for a decent price. I was watching it but it just disappeared one day so I figured it was sold. It’s about 6k less than a brand new one that is exactly the same bike. If it is as advertised I will buy it. Yes the FZ1 is still forsale. No the KLX is not for sale. So do I still want a supermoto? Yes and I will own one some day. Like I said before I am not getting younger and want to try more bikes. Will so ever find the perfect bike? Probably not but it’s fun trying.
Just sit back and watch crazy!!! It’s fun

Just be thankful you haven't been that way with women or you wouldn't have any money left for motorcycles.......

Correct on color. Not leveled though. I prefer a bit of rake anyway.

thought it looked similar to my old rangers color. id imagine the fx4 is a bit taller thou since it looks move level then my truck.

i do like rake for towing but i hate that my truck looks like a dang 2wd lmao im thinking ill bring it up 1.5 to almost level it so i still have some rake

    hey motobros...
Just not getting out this year like years past. Got a big weekend coming up, Rally in Kentucky. BEAUTIFUL roads. Dug out all my gear/luggage etc which was a challenge since I moved last month. Got the bike out for a dusk warmup, and now it looks like I put a couple hundred summer miles with all the bugs I picked up in 20 minutes. Looking forward to some legit riding next week tho. Hope all is well.

    I wish!

First time there since 2019 when we got hit head on in TN. FJR Eastern Owner's Meet organized on one of their forums. Usually held somewhere for 2 years then moved to another location. Past 3 years have been in Flatwoods, WV.

Got it, well then I'm happy for you! Was out that way earlier this year on two wheels for the first time. WAY too wet to thoroughly take advangtage, but I appreciate the condition the roads were in.

Those rally's are a mix aren't they? The community is great, the knowledge. But the rides can get overwhelming. For this Kentucky trip we have a group of 3-4 that take ALL day Thursday to get there, often the best ride day of the weekend. Friday is a group ride and more aggressive, but seldom more than 7-8 dudes, and everyone knows what they've agreed to and there is truly no shame in deciding to lay back. One of the things I love about the Guzzi scene. Not a lot of macho bullshit. Saturday is a 40 MPH parade through the purebred horse farms and distillery country. Lazy and beautiful. Sunday is 'get on the slab and get home'.

We'll both be in our element next weekend. Hope it's a good one. Weather looks promising.

I learned with my Tundra that I don't want to mess with suspension.

Sounds fairly similar to FJR meets.

No organized group ride though. Generally a lot of the people have known each other for years and so they head out in their own little groups. Rarely more than about 5-6 bikes per group and the groups always let newbs know what sort of pace they ride. Folks are ALWAYS told to ride their own pace, the group will wait at turns for you. Best part is the evening socializing i the parking lot and figuring up who you want to ride with in the mornings and where are you headed. I know of at least 2 riders heading east from the Dakotas for the meet. This time we're taking almost 2 days down and back though alone I could easily do it in one day. Saturday we'll make it a short day so her ass can rest up. Planning on visiting the Wheels Through Time museum that day. I'll post pics after we return.
