no no the si was fine im meaning the fact people would push it to 10k mile oil changes and do a lot of test because well honda people! and found they are not that great to run at 10k oil changes.

fair but its not a terrible idea to look into some of the things people do research on. a lot of people would spend time and money on the si forum to see how the oil would last on letting it go for further miles.

the 2.7 eco ford says to do 10k oil changes but a lot of people over the years have stated its a bit to long on this engine and its advised to do it every 5k instead. which is what the person that sold my truck did so ill continue that since thats what they did and others do.

On a slightly related note: beer can truck vs can opener. Telehandler won this round.

Compared to the Taco though it hurts, even if gentle. Still awesome looking for the year.

I’ll do it on the GRC at some point. I’m at like 6500 miles so I have a ways to go still. Didn’t bother testing the first change.

Usually i was 17-19 mpg in the taco and I'm 15-18 mpg in the tundra. Small price to pay for all the extra space.

Sharp, my Tundra gets 16-17 if I’m lucky lol. Taco I always get at least 18-20.

Shit happens. 12 years and 425k miles for this company without any serious damage. Something like this is kind of an eventuality.
